Optimist One Design racing foils by Optiparts are built according to the new class rules. Class rules have standardized Optimist fin and rudder: size, shape, epoxy, foam and fiberglass. The Optimist rudder and fin are manufactured to the maximum thickness allowed to create a sheet as rigid as possible according to the given rules. One Design Optimist fins are fitted with beautifully finished teak slats.
